Found on ebay Motors is this...work of art: a Lambo'd-out Acura NSX. Located in Branson, Missouri, this orange Frankenstein can be yours for the low-low price of $49,000. The title is labeled as clear, it's got 94,000 miles on it, and (not surprisingly) there's no warranty. Not exactly our cup of tea, but we've seen much, much worse. Photo gallery after the jump.

Ferrari wants to know how people want to personalize their 599 - as in, 599 are being built- GTOs (click here for details and high resolution photos). To help the common man get involved, they've released an internet configurator. Set to come out at the Beijing Auto Show, the car will pack 670 horsepower and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. A good way to waste a Sunday afternoon? Indeed.

It looks as if Consumer Reports' GX 460 "Safety Risk" story (click here for details) is picking up steam in a bad way. Mark Templin, Lexus Group Vice President and General Manager, has just added a little bit to Lexus' press release regarding the GX's rollover stats.

Here's what Templin-san has to say: "At this time we have asked our dealers to temporarily suspend sales of the 2010 GX 460."

Furthermore, he adds that Lexus engineers are "vigorously" reevaluating the GX SUV using the same testing methods used by Consumer Reports "to identify how we can make the GX's performance even better."

Owners, now's the time to call: 1-800-255-3987.

As one website put so well, it seems like Toyota has hit rock bottom and then found a shovel.

Never content with any of the VW Group's offerings, German tuner JE Design has now trotted out a new performance package for the Seat Leon Cupra R.

The stock model rolls out of the Spanish firm's factory with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-pot producing 265HP and 350Nm of torque. Thanks to performance kit that includes a recalibrated ECU, a sport air filer and a new exhaust system, the tuner increases those numbers to 330HP and 420Nm.

The result is a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time of 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 268km/h or 167mph.

Other performance features include a KW adjustable coil-over suspension and lowering springs to improve handling and drop the ride height by up to 40mm, while the new stance is accented by colorful 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in beefy 235/35 performance tires.

The German tuner also upgrades the Leon Cupra R's exterior with a two-tone bodykit that includes a large rear wing and special graphics that match the color of the wheels.

The same two-tone color theme can also be applied inside on the leather seats and dashboard trim.

Andrei Avarvarii, a student getting his Master's degree at Milan's Scuola Politecnica di Design, designed this tasty electric Lamborghini concept. With assistance from Lamborghini Design head Filippo Perini, he used a "soft design language" in penning the Minotauro.

The concept would use four electric motors and split the power 30%/70% front to rear. A Li-Tec flat-cell battery out back and a KERS system in the front would be providing the power.

The press release goes on to explain the bonus of no big, bad V12 out back: "The absence of a big V12 engine in the rear creates enough room for a third passenger in a central position." That's right, seating for three.

While the driver's door would be normal, the passenger side's would be bigger to provide access to the back seat.

But the coolest design idea of all? Look no further than those triangular intakes/exhausts. "[They] serve for battery cooling and visually replace the traditional exhausts...[and] also act like the tubes of a subwoofer, channeling the sound of the electric motors, placed behind them."

Then there's the fact that owner's would theoretically be able to upload their own track ghosts to an online community.

If a real racetrack has been / is being covered, the GPS would record car placement / track time, allowing people worldwide to challenge an owner's record.

Good job, Andrei.

A lightly modified race-spec version of the all-electric MINI 'E' completed a lap of the legendary 20.8 km-long "Green Hell" in a time of 09:51.45 minutes recording a top speed of 187 km/h or 116mph, the BMW Group announced today. At the wheel of the electric racer for the hot lap was former DTM racing driver Thomas Jäger from Munich.

It goes without saying that the folks from the BMW Group didn't bring the MINI E to the notorious Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit to break any records but to show that their all-electric test vehicle can manage a respectable lap time on the 'Ring.

"The aim of this unique undertaking was to provide an impressive showcase of the great potential of the MINI E and its environment-friendly drive concept," said BMW Group's Peter Krams, who led the project.

Dubbed the "MINI E Race", the electric hatchback was fitted with a special lightweight body and a roll cage, while other components, such as the suspension, brakes and tires, were race specification.

Other than that, the car shares the same 150 kW/204 hp electric motor, supplied with energy from 5,088 lithium-ion battery cells, with the standard MINI E, while power from the electric motor is sent to the front wheels via a single-stage helical gearbox with a lengthened gear ratio.

Model-specific conversions

Interior: Recaro Pro Racer (HANS) CFRP seat, 6-way safety harness (3-inch), suede leather steering wheel 320 mm diameter

Roll cage: Bolt construction (lightweight) CrMo4, approx. 35 kg incl. mounting materials

Transmission: Mechanical multi-plate limited-slip differential with 40°/50° ramp breakover angle, 55 Nm preload

Engine: Adjusted engine management settings

Suspension: KW Variant 3 coilover suspension, tuned to the higher axle loads of the MINI E Race with modified damping characteristics and adjusted springs

Exterior: Diffusers, rear wing, CFRP body parts

Safety: Integration of special race ABS Differentiated main switch concept

The 1973 Camaro F-Bomb replica from the fourth installment in the Fast & Furious movie franchise (or at least one of the cars that was used in the film) is up for grabs. For those with a weak memory, the military green Camaro was driven by Dom -played by Vin Diesel- through the underground tunnels.

The seller of the movie car that's equipped with a 350HP V8 engine claims the Camaro F-Bomb replica has been restored "into a show piece for exhibition" and that "unlike most movie cars, this one is fully functional as a normal driver with working gauges, heater, wipers, etc."

The selling price for the 1973 Camaro F-Bomb has been set at $39,998. Full image gallery after the jump.

Volvo's UK arm has announced prices and full specification details for the all-new S60 sedan that's available for order now, with first customer deliveries in August. Prices for the mid-size sedan range from £23,295 for the entry-level D3 ES (163PS) up to £36,745 for the top-of-the-range T6 AWD SE Lux Geartronic Premium.

At launch, the new S60 will be available with a choice of two diesels and one petrol engine. The newly-developed five-cylinder 2.0-liter D3 diesel engine produces 163HP and 400Nm of torque returning a combined fuel economy of 54.3mpg UK.

Next up is the twin-turbo D5 diesel powerplant that produces 205HP and 420Nm of torque accelerating the S60 from 0-62mph (100km/h) in 7.8 seconds, while returning 53.3mpg UK in the combined cycle.

Last but not least is the newly-enhanced 3.0-litre six-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers 304HP and 440 Nm of torque. This engine powers the mid-size sedan from zero to 62mph (100km/h) in 6.5 seconds and onto a top speed of 155 mph or 25-km/h, while offering a combined fuel consumption of 28.5mpg UK.

Standard features on all S60 models include the City Safety system that automatically brakes the vehicle from speeds up to 19mph if the car in front stops, DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control), WHIPS (Whiplash Protection System), SIPS (Side Impact Protection System) and Inflatable Curtain airbags.

There are three trim levels, ES, SE and SE Lux. The base ES comes equipped with electronic climate control, cruise control, 5" color screen, steering wheel remote audio controls, alloy wheels and leather steering wheel and gear stick, and 16-inch alloys as standard.

The SE trim level adds Tylosand textile/Vinyl upholstery, Shimmer Graphite aluminium trim, watch dials, Auto Dimming rear view mirror, Autofolding Power Door Mirrors with Puddle Lights, rain sensor, High Performance Sound System, Bluetooth, Rear Park Assist and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The top-of-the-range SE Lux combines the ES and SE specifications and incorporates Power Drivers Seat & Memory, leather-faced upholstery, Active Bending Lights and headlamp cleaning

$40,300 for a tuned-up Mini? REALLY? That's the opening price - including a $700 shipping fee, for the 50 coming-to-these-here-shores versions of Mini's World Championship 50 (WC50) model (read all about it in out previous post here).

It features the JCW turbo'd 1.6 rated at 208 horsepower, all the other standard Works fixin's, and special green paint (to sound like it's worth the money, call it Connaught Green). Seriously though, it looks good. Just not THAT good.
